missing files in suse10.2

hi friends...
i have set up an ltsp network on suse10.2 platform
now i am trying to test local applications in ltsp

to do that i have to make some modifications in the following files...but these files are not present in suse10.2

1) /etc/sysconfig/network
these is folder named network in suse and not file
i need to specify my NIS domain name and server in the above file

2) /etc/yp.conf
this file is alorequired for configuring NIS server

can anyone tell me the substitutes for these files in suse10.2

In my install of SuSE 10.2, there is a file called /etc/networks and there is a file called yp.conf

You could create the latter which is simply a text file containing:
Code:
domain localdomain broadcast
