Missing file libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2

I wnat to install xnview for linux, but using the command
yum localinstall XnView-static.i386.rpm,
i get the message
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 is needed by package XnView
I try to find it, but after I installed some packages (in which the file seemed to be), I still receive the same message
What cen I do ? I realy want to install this program...
I want to try with yum install, but I don't know the exact name of the xnview program (or maybe I also need a supplementary repo to add...)

You need to install gcc-3 compatible libraries, try this yum install command to install them:
Code:
yum -y install compat-libstdc++-33

That is assuming you have Fedora 6, to find what package will satisfy that dependency, go to http://rpm.pbone.net and paste 'libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2' (without quotes) in the search field and install the package presented for your distribution.
