Question mirroring my local master server contents to another server located at remote site


Hi,

i am in the process of mirroring my local master server to another server in the remote location, had anyone done this before. please suggest how this can be accomplished.

your solution is highly appreciated,

I would suggest looking into rsync, this seems to be the easiest tool for mirroring that I know of and the most effective, it'll only update what needs to be updated, as opposed to updating every single file between the two servers.

I don't use rsync myself as I do not do back-up servers but generally it's done via a small script that is added to crontab for say a daily execution.
