I have installed Mint 20.2 (clean install). An app flashprint 4.2.0. that used to run on Mint 18.3 won’t run on 20.2. The terminal says Segmentation fault (core dumped). Can anybody help. Thanks.
Downloaded flashprint_4.2.0_amd64.deb from FlashForge. Installed it. It can be seen in Menu Applications under Accessories.
Used double click to install the same procedure when I installed on mint 18.3. Thanks.
yes, the old version probably does not support that background settings and is incompatible with your new mint 20.
the new version has a much better theme settings, but need to find the way....
The background colour can’t be changed. I have asked Flashforge if they will create an alternative version with a grey or lighter background. They are looking in to it. Might be lucky. Thanks for all your help.
I also have a background color in Mint 20.2 that does not change in the new version! Downloaded here: https://www.flashforge.com/download-center. as they said in the previous post! Hopefully the developers will fix this bug!
