Minor WINE Problems XFree 4.3 ATI Radeon 9700 Pro SuSE 9.0 Professional

Finally got Wine to run Steam for DoD and Counterstrike (w00t! Im running out of reasons to use Windows). There is only one minor issue. When the system goes to load the game, the resolution does not correctly set, it's as if the screen is still 1280x1024, but it's only allowing me to see 1024x728 at a time, and the screen scrolls when I move the mouse all the way to the right, to see the remaining pixels. In other words; the desktop resolution doesn't resize to fit the gaming window. How do I fix this?
