Hi and welcome to LQ.

I feel you should provide some more information to allow people to help you.

Is Mini Linux installed or are you trying to run a virtual machine or boot this off of live media? Or are you trying to install off of DVD or USB?

What specific error are you receiving, exactly that text to a terminal? Or is a graphical desktop open?

Perhaps you can describe more about what you see when the system is trying to start.

I'm going to add a 'me to' to this thread.

I'm running Slackware 14.2 64 bit system. I installed minitube from Sbo without any problems. The application launches without problems. I entered a simple one work search "linux" and pressed enter. I received the following error message:

"error downloading http://gdata/youtube.com/...." I could not retrieve the full URL. I tried, in a browser going to gdata.youtube.com, and it appears to not be a valid URL.

I can not find any error logs for this application, or configuration for the app.

I would like to contact the maintainer, however, I do not know how to do that.

Suggestions?
