Minimised applications vanishing in KDE

Ive done something to the "taskbar" in KDE. Whenever i minimise an app, it just vanishes!
I can alt+tab and scroll through all the running apps, but they arent showing at the bottom of the screen. lol.

anyone tell me what i've done and how to get it back so minimised apps show/

you need to add a window bar to your panel. I'm not sure exactly what the term is (gnome user) but I assume you can just right click the panel and add an applet that lets you view the open/minimized windows

i dont really know what happened, but if i right click and do Add new panel->external taskbar, a new taskbar appears above my existing taskbar and on there is a list of applications. But I cant figure out how to consolodate this into the normal KDE taskbar. LOL

Figured it!
Just needed to add the 'taskbar' applet for it to show. lol
