MineType for external porgrams to streamout

Hi all
also dont know is this question would reffer to apache more then in here but would be happy finding the ans please

As a newbi on linux and having this big problem that seem prob easy for some but quite heavy for me
as virtual host and have few domainname prob is the cause I dunno but it seem on other servers I didnt have this .world non standart format to stream and cant see where to configure it out to be able to stream there content out on port 80
usuall the files from /home/username/public_html/stream_world_name_folder/the_worldfile.world

and this usually stream out well on other servers for any clients using there client program to work with and here nothing seem to stream and nor seen on client side
I do know the minetype of worlds player is application/x-gamma-world and Gamma.Browser

do I need to add thoses as minetype on linux side for client to be able to stream there what_ever.world file that is usually open with there windows env program

if not how to set them to be reconized and able to stream them out from port 80

an running on centos 4.5 if this can help

application/x-gamma-world
is not listed as a mime type here

http://www.iana.org/assignments/medi...s/application/

but it's hard to say what you want really.

Well you can add the line
Code:
AddType application/x-gamma-world .world
to the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file where you find the other AddType lines
add it after the others.
Save the file and restart apache with

Code:
service httpd restart
You will have to do this as root.

thanks for commenting and trying to help me out but again for some reason its not streaming out
wonder if is not cause some javas script in programs when giving just a domain name then reconfigure it to an IP resulution but then somewhere it must jam cause of more then one domain name and james there
originally I wonder where does the appache port does reply to then becomes when having like cPanel on it seem more confusing ... is there a comande that you can manually asigned on lookups and redirected it like if this doamin then goto username path directory

prob this kinda symbolique link would work I dunno
