Minecraft server on AWS

i have aws education plan and i am trying to start a minecraft server, i added 25565 to the inbound rules and i still cant connect, i also added an elastic ip, any help?

Hi!!! A web-search of: aws minecraft 25565
Returns many things, but it depends on how exactly you put that/those in.
(Plus diagnostic data may help)
IF a friend told you: "I put ... into my car, but didn't help", you'd need details.
