Minecraft Bukkit Server Console Window not showing up on cron in Ubuntu

Hey there Linux Gurus. I was hoping that by posting here I can find an answer for my problem.

I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 on a old desktop computer to run a Bukkit Minecraft Server for me and my friends. I have made a start up script that I run via Terminal. Now, I have this script set up to start up at 4 am in the cron, and the command it runs is simply, ./start.sh. This is all fine and dandy, but it doesn't show a Console Window in Terminal this way. However, if I went to type it in manually in the terminal, it shows me the console window. Without this console window, I am unable to enter commands and I have to shut down the server manually which isn't always safe. I'm wondering, is there a way I can write a script that will open Terminal, type in ./start.sh and have that command run in the Terminal?

I can supply any file you need. Again this is on Ubuntu 11.04.

Thanks in Advance,
Chasingu
