mimi-Mandrake installation problems
Hi everyone, first off thanks for reading
well 2 days ago I was looking on mandrake's site to try out a new distro, since I don't have many cd's and the ones I have are only 650MB I needed something much much smaller, so I went for mini-mandrake. As I understood from the site, I would be able to get CD-1,-2,-3 from the site as I install it, but when I got to that part the installer gave me a bunch of problems of un-found files, I tought I could keep going and maybe install once I get to the desktop, turned out there is no installed desktop, only a clock... Everytime I go back I get the same error
So my question is, is there a way for me to install the packages on my windows drive and get them while I'm on the linux installer?

(I have DSL, ethernet, PPoE,... I think that's all)

Thanks for reading and answer if you can

Easiest solution would be go buy some CDs.

Barring that, it would help if you posted the exact error messages you're getting. It's possible that either your network connection isn't configured, or the mirror address isn't correct, or any of a number of other possible problems. More info would really help here.
