Migrating from Windows to Linux
 

ya i tired of windows and i want linux but im haveing a lot of problems with this i need someone to IM me and help pls. I need someone that also can answer some stupid qustions i ask.

Not sure if anyone replied but why not post all your "stupid questions"? If you have a lot just post each group of related questions. Chances are others may have similar questions.

You might want to try IRC. There are a lot of channels dedicated to linux and specific distributions. irc.freenode.net is probably the best for this.

One thing I've found that is really helpful is my local area (I use the word local loosely including anything within 75 miles) Linux Users Group. Newbies are welcome to come to our meeting, computer in tow, and we help install and set up! Other groups may be more structured than ours is, but most all will help you install Linux. To find one in your area, try this. It is worldwide.
