Midnight Commander after exit

I use Midnight Commander after exit from Midnight Commander I return back to my home directory.
how to fixed a stay after a folder is selected in the Midnight Commander.

I have mc version 4.6.2 and it does not go to home after exit.
However if in mc I go to the top of the hierichy i.e my home folder then after exit I am in my home folder.

When you run mc it becomes a child of the process that called it. Changing the working directory of any child process will not affect the working directory of the parent process.
