MIDI playback through midi keyboad.

I do not know antthing about this,if I buy a midi keyboad and hook it up with soundcard's midi port.
Then if I use kmidi to play back midi files, should I be able to get sound out from midi keyboad?

midi keyboad with Linux.

I want to play midi files using kmid(My soundcard does not have midi synth),I do not know anything about midi keyboads(like casio).
But Is it possible to play back by connecting to soundcard's midi port?

Sorry dont know answer, but would like to know it as I too have a midi keyboard that needs sorting.

I, too, would like to know the answer.

Which is why I hope that the ops don't squelch this thread--posting things 6 times total in 2 different forums (let alone 2 times) is considered bad form. *very* bad in your case. It won't get you more of the good attention, but enough of the bad to not be worth it.

my 2 cents.

And I would like to know why (since you've only posted it
6 times yesterday) you need to post it again ... merged with the
other closed one(s) .... please add references to the ONE
active survivor from yesterday
