Microsoft Wireless desktop with redhat
Hello everyone.
I'm an absolute newbie as I have not even been able to install linux yet. My problem is that I have a microsoft wireless desktop (keyboard and mouse) connected via the single usb and redhat installation does not recognize any input beyond the screen that asks for either a graphical or text installation. I have searched for answers but the explanations are beyond my level of linux sophistication (which is virtually null). Could anyone offer a helping hand? thanks. |
I noticed it's been a few months. did you get it all working? still with linux?
lookin for an update. |
Try PS/2?
I also have a MS-Wireless desktop.
It works fine, except I'm using it via the PS/2 ports. Also, it clogs up my syslog file with Unknown keycode errors. Well, try it on the PS/2 port if you can. I'm trying to find a script or something that will set all of the keycodes for me. I've been trying to dwindle them down by using setkeycodes. |
