help please
can anyone please tell me what text editor to use in order to write program for assembler language, and how to compile it under linux.
is there a software specifically to write and execute assembler language under linux.
I am writing a program for motorola 68000 microprocessor.

man i have no experience with this so i shouldn't be answering
(i did have one of those cool mac se guys though)
just disregard if i'm up the wrong source tree
