mga_drv.0 is unresolved!

I'm having problems loading my X Windows. I get partial icons etc. I've run Xconfigurator and tested the screen with various resolutions etc. and each time I test the screen tests successfully.

However when I attempt to start the X Windows server I get the following message in xdm-error.log :-

mga_drv.log is unresolved

My cards is a Matrix Productiva G100 - do I need specific drivers for this card or is something else my problem

My thanks
