Messenger problems

Is anyone else running Linux Lite on an Acer Aspire 1 and having problems staying connected through the messenger and messages not being sent. Its driving me mad!

I'm not sure what size your hard/flash drive is in that netbook but you _should_ be able to install pidgin on that and use it instead of the built in messenger. Depending on how old your machine is MSN may have updated their client protocol which could be causing you problems. I know the Pidgin team has to update their client to work with the updated protocols msn/icq/aim/yahoo whenever the companies make changes.

Thanks, will look into it. Also I think I will need some extra storage space so best get some first.
