Messed up my inittab! It boots into black screen.
 
Hi, I was following a lesson with my UNIX Academy training and by mistake made a change to inittab. now it boots into black screen. How can I get into shell to fix inittab

Not knowing exactly what you did, the easiest way would be to boot from a CD, mount the drive and change it back to the way it was.

Yep, I can do it with CD boot, thanks. I also found a way of doing it by instructing Grub going into different run-level.
