Question Message starting linux mandrake 9.2

Hi... I'm newbie using linux, I'm a windows user and now I wanna be linux user.... yesterday I installed mandrake 9.2 on my computer, everything looked fine during the installing process but now I have a problem:
when I restart my computer linux through me a windows message with the following message:
"This is the failsafe xterm session, you will logged into terminal console so that you may fix your system if you cannot log in any other way. To exit the terminal emulator, type 'exit' and and enter into the windows" then I press "OK" and linux open a terminal windows, but as I said I'm new and I don't have any idea what to do....
I don't know if it is a error message or normal message. My questions is Does anybody know How can I eliminate this message ??

Thanks in advance....

When it goes to failsafe I presume you get the command line prompt and want to know what to do from there?

No, he is loggin in trough GDM and since GDM can't find his display manager, GDM drops him to a failsafe terminal.
aeguzmanv: Did you do a "full" install ?

The easiest way to fix this, at this point, would be reinstalling Mandrake. Since you're a newbie, explaining loads of commands isn't gonna help you. I suggest you reinstall,

good luck, and good that you chose to switch to linux!
