Post mepis install on usb


help me, When booting mepis 6.5.02 from usb grub is loaded but system cannot find kernel. I open device.map from boot folder and see
hda0
sda1.
I make 3 partition on usb 1-521mb, 2-1.5gb, and last 1.5gb. I install on 2nd partion. But I cannot run mepis from there
Is there anybody to help me
