Menu Editor (startbutton of suse)

you know the button on the bottom left of your screen, you click it and you see all the programs, well i went into the menu editor and tryed to make a shortcut button to it, and then i saved it. Well i went to the start button, then click on the shortcut i made it changes the mouse but nothing happens.....

Can someone tell me how to make a short cut button?

There should be three entries that can be filled in: Name, Comment and Command. What did you put in the first and last, and what were you attempting to create a menu item for ?

If you open a shell (Konsole, Xterm etc.) and type the command, what is the error that appears ?

Cheers,

mj
