Question mdk 91 to 92

Is it possible to "update" mdk 91 to 91 by rpmdrake or shloud i download mdk 92 to install?

I don't know if you can or not, but I doubt that you could just update like that. That would be far too easy, where is the fun in that?

common advice seems to be that the best option is a clean install

if your home dir is NOT on a seperate partition remember to back up the hidden files as well as the seen ones
if you are wiping the drive altogether
give the home dir it's own partition, this way, you can reinstall the root system
and keep you're desktop/mail settings

if this is too much on one go
i'll help as much as i can at your pace

(the version of 9.2 i got (download editio) was very buggy, constant crashes when logging out, in the end i went back to 9.1)

I upgraded from 9.1 to 9.2 and it was OK. I just didn't like 9.2. Too much stuff left out and no kernel sources either.

I am now back to 9.1. I'll wait on 10.X, thank you.
