Hi,

Is there any? Which describe what MD5 is all about.
We need to submit it in a proposal. So its not for education my self.

You're submitting a proposal for something to do with MD5, but you don't know what it is? If you're working on something that uses it, you should already know what it is, and how it works, shouldn't you?

Sorry, but it sounds very much like homework...and if it's not, Google for it. There's lots of info and descriptions out there.

I know what it is.
Our company is very security oriented. They just wont take my word on MD5.
Last year I was able to find a document which some one created by trail and error.
That document had little details about passwd being unique,Mix-case etc.
That doc. is not on the net any more.

As far as MD5 itself goes, this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MD5 has a FULL explanation, including diagrams, algorithms etc etc. See also the references and links.
