Mass-Compile C++ examples

Hello,

I am planning to learn C++, and before I am actively going to read to read the book I bought, I want all the examples that come with it, compiled, so I don't have to do that every time manually. I think it has to do something with make and makefiles, but I am not sure at all how to use it as I cannot seem to find information about it..

If it helps, this is the site where the examples are. Ofcourse, I would prefer to do it myself unless it is really an advanced topic..
