Manually Remove Installed Packages from FC4

I was installing MySQL Query Browser, but it asked me for the FC 4 / Disc 4, when i inserted the disc it appeared to be damaged, so i have cancelled the installation, later i got a new copy of that CD, but whenever i try to install again the software it tells me that the package is already installed.

How can i uninstall it considering it is not a package that belongs to FC 4 distribution discs.

if you installed it with your package management system / rpm then you should be able to uninstall it using the same tool. i dont use FC so i dont know the details.. i think FC4 uses yum to manage software though?
type 'man yum' to read the manual for info about how it works. check out this
link for sure.

You can use
yum remove foo
to remove packages. In general, you should use yum
to do all software installing, updating, etc. because it gets the updated versions from repositories and handles repositories automatically.
