Mandriva Zoneminder 1.22.3 install on hard driive - root pasword ?
 

I recently downloaded the Mandriva + Zoneminder 1.22.3 live CD at Linuxtrackerorg ( ZMliveCD 1.22.3 ). I like the entire package and want to install it on the hard drive to use for a DIY video surveillance system . After I click the live CD install icon , I get a small screen - " You are attempting a command which requires administrative priveleges, but more inforation is need to do so " . Below there is a "Password for root " with box to complete . Placing "root" and "guest" in the box do not let me move forward . What to I need to get this live cd ( Mandriva and Zoneminder to install ? Also I want to be able set up Zoneminder to start up on boot . -
I am a complete noob at this Linux stuff and appreciate all the help I can get.
