Mandriva Spring shows wireless networks using Netgear card wg511t but no internet

I have installed mandriva spring on Toshiba satellite laptop. I can not get the wireless net work to work for me. I have read lots of threads on here but none seem to work. If I go to configure my network it seems that I the card is detected, it sees my network signal and it goes down like it is configured and yet when it is all done, I do not have internet. Any ideas as to why I can not connect, It looks connected the lits are blinking like I am getting the signals but Just can use it for some reason.
The I hard wire it, it work s just fine. Please help.
Thanks in advance

can you post the error?

dmesg | tail > error.txt

Or, if its not in there (it should be)

tail /var/log/messages > error.txt

Also, what is your configuration?

ifconfig -a > if.txt
iwconfig > iw.txt
route -n > route.txt

Are you using (or attempting to use) WPA encryption on the wifi connection?
