Mandriva cannot mount USB Flash Key Drive
After reinstalling Mandriva vSpring 2008 in the same Linux partition. Normal formatting was undertaken during installation. The Swap file is in an adjacent partition.
1. Even after entering the correct root password, the console does not permit changes or looking up libraries-permission denied. 2. Previously, when Mandriva was installed, I could copy and paste into the USB2 Flash Key drive, now it is denied and shows as an error. There was an error while copying screenshot.png Error opening the file /media/removable/Screenshot.png-permission denied. 3. In Windows XP Pro, I have performed Safely remove the drive, permission was granted for removal. Permissions of "removable" could not be determined.
