Mandriva 2008 install problem

Hi, I ordered and downloaded Mandriva 2008 64 bit version (iso file). I burned the file to disc using easy cd 6. I have an AMD 64 bit 3200+ with 1 gig ram and a Maxtor 160 gig hd 1 single partition not formatted. Ok, this is what happens,
Boot computer with disc in
Install page comes up, I choose install to hard drive
next page asks me what cd rom drive, i choose the correct one
after a few seconds i get fatal error. This is the log file.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

Hello,

You might want to check the ISO for errors. You can use "md5sum" for this. Usually on a download page the md5sums for the ISOs are listed. Try google for instructions on "md5sum." If the md5sum of the ISO on your computer does not match the md5sum that is listed on the mandriva download page, then the ISO is corrupt.

Or, you can just download the ISO again. :)

Good luck.

Thanks for the help. What I did was burn the image to a different make dvd and I was able to install. Now I have a new problem!
I did install, everything seem to install ok. After reboot, freezes on very first screen and the right 2 lights on my keyboard fash on and off continuously. I try booting in safe mode. I only get so far and same thing. This is the last page of the log.
loading ext3.ko module

echo: cannot open /sys power/tuxonice/do_resume for write: 2

I purchased this powerpack as a download.
In the above, this is omly the last page of the log. I may have mistyped as I was copying this from the screen.
Thank you for any help!
Doug
