Mandrakelinux 10.1 Hangs on Shutdown
After using Mandrakelinux Update, now my computer hangs up on shutdown. It looks like it gets to the last line of code, the computer clicks, and there it stays. The only thing I can do then is hold in the power button until it shuts off, or just unplug it.
How can I correct this behavior?

You are probably using apm, when you need acpi, or vice versa. I think it has something to do with that. You can change it at the configuration screen I think. That's all the info I can give you... Maybe somebody else knows more about it.

Thanks for your input. Hopefully someone will care enough to help me out with this problem soon. Until then, I'll make do.

Well, since there's been no more responses, I'm going to do a reinstallation. I just want it to work correctly, and maybe this will fix it.
Until next time...
