Mandrake10 cd's wont boot????

New to Mandrake10.......after reinstalling Winduhs XP,my Linux CD's do not boot on start up. Before I redid Winduhs everything worked perfect.
Now when I try booting the install cd's they fail to boot.I've tried making a boot disk with rawwritewin and rawrite in dos, none of them seem to work no matter what is done. HOW can I get this to work after reinstalling Winduhs XP.
I am trying to install Mandrake 10 on a seperate h/d,before I had LINUX and winduhs on same h/d,would this make a difference????

Tryin' to gits away frum WINDUHS............
THANX

Do you have a CD drive set up as a boot device before hard disk in your BIOS?

I'm doing this all with "Mandrake 10 Community Edition" if that helps.

Did you check md5sum for the iso images you downloaded?

If the sum was ok, then try to burn another CD#1 and try to boot it.

If the sum wasn't correct then you have to download the images again.
