Mandrake versus Suse? Newbie choosing...
 

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking a bit, and reading as much as I can. I have narrowed it down to a choice between Mandrake and Suse.

Right now, the pros seem to be in MAndrake's favor... Any advice as to what I should consider when picking between these two?

I intend to use this first Linux install as a learning tool for Linux, and also to render 3d images. I will also need an install that is easy toi install on a second drive on a PC that already has Win XP on the primary drive.

My specs are

amd athlon xp 2100+
512 mb ram
nvidia geforce 4
Cd burner
