Mandrake PPC 9.2 Video Problems

Hi, I just got started with linux after being in a mac and pc world. I recently tried installing linux on my Apple Titanium 867 (the later version). Everything loaded up fine, but when i rebooted into linux, the screen looks like garbled crud but other than that it loaded up fine (sounds and all). The display is yellow and though you can see the cursor, everything else is just a choppy mess (like imagine taking a picture of your desktop, putting it through a shredder and then pasting in no particular order the shreds to your monitor) and i cant even navigate because it is so spliced and jacked up. I think it is my video driver. I went on ATI's and found the driver for my ATI 9200 video card, but how do i install it if i cant boot into the interface? Ho do i change my screen resolution and stuff also? Any help would be appreciated and thanks for reading.
