Mandrake Glib installation
 

Hi,

I am trying to install xmms 1.2.8 in Mandrake.

It requires glib 2.2. I donwloaded the source and did the installation process, but it did not work at all. Is there any path I need to add ?

if you haven't tried to install xmms from the source yet, i would do so... also, you may be able to go into the mandrake control center which is at (at least for me) /usr/sbin/drakconf

sry didn't finish that last part (oops) in the control center, there should be something about installing rpms. That makes it really easy to install a lot of these programs.. you may be able to install glib there also
