Mandrake Dual Boot Setup
Hi, I have a question regarding running a dual boot setup on my PC. I intend to install Mandrake on my PC while keeping Win98se for now. I have used the tool FIPS already in which I have allocated to drive 1 about 1500MB space for Win OS, and the rest (6100MB of free space) for Mandrake. I have just read that Mandrake can resize your Windows partition to make room for Linux, so should would it be best to undo what I have already done with FIPS in partitioning my drive, or just leave it be? Also, I have read somewhere that Mandrake needs at least 128 memory, and I do not see why that is necessary and believe that it should run fine with 64 memory like I have. My PC is 700/66 Mhz Celeron, 64MB memory, and has 6GB free space at the moment. Does all look good, and anyone have any advice/suggestions? Thanks in advance, and I greatly appreciate the help!
