Hi.
I really need to know where to find a Mandrake 8.2 bootdisk..
I need to uninstall Red Hat 6.2, in order to install Mandrake 8.2.
Im totally newbie, so I need as much help I can get.
Are you thinking about a floppy or a cd? In both cases (floppy image is in one of the directories of the cd image) look there: http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/ftp.php3
Go to download page and find a good mirror near you. Or you can order a boxed set, of course.
Well, you don't actually have to uninstall Redhat as it is not a Program. If you want to install Mandy instead of RH just plop in the Mandy disc at boot up, and when it asks if you want to format the disc, say Yep.
