Angry Mandrake 9.2 will not open up (Dual Boot)...

I am recieveing an Error message when I try to access the linux side of my dual boot.
Here is the message I recieve:
"hda3: bad access:block=2,count2
mount:error22 mounting ext2 flags Kernel panic: No init found, try passing in it=option to Kernel."

HELP !!...What does this mean?... and how do I fix it...
I hope there is a simple fix
Thanx

Boot from your Mandrake installation cd in rescue mode, enter console and then type
fsck.ext2 /dev/hda3
(if you're really using ext2, if it's ext3 use 'fsck.ext3', if reiser use 'fsck.reiser' and so on). The program will check you partition for errors and try to fix the ones it finds.

or go into your bootloader (i assume lilo) and try to edit that line and append the following to the line that says "kernel ..."

add
init=/bin/sh

then you should get to a prompt that will allow you to run the command above
