Mandrake 9.2 - Wheel Mouse

I have a 3 button and wheeled Logitech optical mouse, under my Mandrake Control Centre I have it configured as a Generic Wheel Mouse, it works fine. Except for my wheel, I cannot scroll down at all.
If you could please help me out, it would be appreciated.

have you checked out your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file. there is a section to configure your mouse. it should look similar to this
[code]
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0" #replace Mouse0 with your mouse id
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
Endsection

it's natural to think no one else has ever had the same problem we're facing. but as n00bs, our best friend is really that search button up at the top of the page. can't tell you how many problems that has solved for me.

I think that this is a good suggestion. google for 10 minutes and then search the forums for 10 minutes. if after 10 min of each you don't find your answer there is no need to bang your head (for too long).
