Question mandrake 9.2 trouble

O.k i went to install mandrake 9.2, on my computer which already has windows XP on it. As it booted up i pressed enter to install and then nothing nothing happened, so i press alt-f2 i think it was and it showed me what was going on, and alls it kept saying was Lost Interrupt or interrupt lost, but i htink it had something to do with my CD re writer.

Any Ideas

Cheers Chris
