Mandrake 9.2 on a Sony Vaio PCG-Z600TEK

Hi all,

I am a relative newcomer to linux, I have installed it on my desktop pc, but everyone else in the family complains that it's too hard to use!

Anyhow, I have got myself a Sony Vaio laptop and want to put it on a partition on there. I am having a problem getting very far as the pcmcia crdom is not found.

I realise from reading other posts that I have to pass certain parameters to the kernel for it to recognise it (0x180,0x386) the only problem is how??

Hope some of you guys can help!

Thanks for now

This might help

Take a look here and see if this helps:

It helps if you read German, of course. If not, try to get it translated.

Also, see other info here:
