Mandrake 9.2 on a Sony Vaio PCG-Z600TEK

Hi all,

I am a relative newcomer to linux, I have installed it on my desktop pc, but everyone else in the family complains that it's too hard to use!

Anyhow, I have got myself a Sony Vaio laptop and want to put it on a partition on there. I am having a problem getting very far as the pcmcia crdom is not found.

I realise from reading other posts that I have to pass certain parameters to the kernel for it to recognise it (0x180,0x386) the only problem is how??
