Mandrake 9.2 and the Kernel
 
Ok, my question is this, how does one go about installing the Linux 2.6.12 Kernel. I have already got the image compiled, and the modules installed already. Just need to figure out how to make it work with Mandrake Linux 9.2. I am currently using the Lilo loader, but am not seeing the lilo.conf file anywhere. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

You dont have lilo.conf in /etc/ ??? Maybe its name is other (lilo-mdk.conf, something like this).

well it seems I do, but when I tried to edit it, I didn't have much luck. I ended up running the install disc again last night, but only re-installed the bootloader, and this time I chose grub.
