Mandrake 9.1 security updates

Have just installed mandrake 9.1 after having mandrake 9 for a while with no problems. But 9.1 when I went update it thru the wizard as usual, says it cannot get updates because it maybe architecture is wrong says do it manually same problem can surf the net. The processor is a amd 700MHz. Any ideas what to do next.

is it bought or downloaded? if it's bought i know that you will have the urpmi.setup rpm on the disks. if it's downloaded then i would go here and get that package. run it from the command line urpmi.setup as root and then choose your mirrors, then make sure you confirm, (or whatever it is, the top button) and then -

urpmi.update -a --wget
urpmi --auto-select --wget

i use the wget since curl is giving me problems.

of you could have the wrong architecture.

cheers.
