Mandrake 9.1 internet conection
 

I have succecsfully installed Mandrake 9.1 in my computer!!!!!! Finally!!!!
The problem is my internet conection,,, i was using Xp with AOL dsl and a external Broadband blaster wich is not working with Mandrake.... I just called AOL tech support and guess what: They dont work with Linux at all!!!.....
What can i do to have DSL working on Mandrake???
Buying a new DSL modem and downloading pengaol????
In that case: any brand or model in particular?????
Plz help!!! im almost ready to switch by complete to LINUX!!!!!
I hope some day Aol will support Linux.... by the mean time..its just like a ..."WIn Vader and Linux Skywalker thing".....

i would say that if you could find out how AOL does their isp'ing (like if they use dhcp, pppoe, i've read articles from verizon customers saying that they had find out if their area isp used those types of things and then set them up.) but AOL probably has a special client they want you to use, at least that's how it was when i had dialup AOL, and i doubt they want to program a linux version.
