Mandrake 9.0 Network Disbale???

G'day

I am running Mandrake 9.0 I was on a Redhat 9.0 machine the other day which had a GUI way of enabling and disabling the network

(which is great cos I don't want my ADSL on all the time)

Is there a way in Mandrake 9.0 to enable and Disable the network via the GUI ( KDE) or an easy command to disable and enable the network????

Cheers

If you go into the mandrake control centre>drakeconnect, it should start the window that tells you that it is "testing your connection".

After a short while, it should change status to tell you that you are "connected". There should also be a button marked "disconnect", click on that and it should disconnect, which changes the status to disconnected and the same button should show you "connect" etc etc.

regards

John

Dunno, whenever that "pops up" I just close the main connection window and minimise the network monitoring window box.

I could never find it either
