Mandrake 9.0 hangs during install
 

the problem is as follows when I try to install mdk 9.0 from cd's it just hangs
I tried both graphical and text install but with no effect actually :( the last thing that is visible during text one is just after detecting processor sth about vector 00000002 appears and that's it no response

I ve got MSI kt3V, ahtlon 1.7xp+, 256 ddr 333

have you disabled pnp support in Bios ?

yes it's disabled.... should I enable it?

1) No it should be disabled.
2) Can't be the processor, i've got the same one.
3) Where did you get your CD's from ?

4) Did you check the md5sum on the CDs if you downloaded them?

the cd's work i've installed it on several other computers.. well the weirdest thing is that my MSI mainboard has usb 2.0 and 6 ports when all 6 are enabled even rh 7.3 install doesn't start :( but even disabling them still doesn't change anything bout mandrake it stops just after:
Embedded ExtINT on CPU#0
POSIX conformance testing by UNIFIX
ESR value ...sth enabling vector: 0000000002

Looks like something is wrong with your mainboard

i mean the mainboard is rather ok when i disabled usb ports rh 7.3 was installed smootly but drake still not :(

Still looks like a hardware problem, Maybe start a new thread on hardware forum on this site, elaborate in first post on things discussed here above ( pnp, install ok on other comp, usb, rh7.3, etc. )
