what do you mean by "work" ? play dvd's? mount dvds? mount normal cdroms??

in that case, try MPlayer, xine or ogle.

As for Mplayer, you'll need an upgrade for gcc, if you have it - cool, if not the Mplayer won't compile with gcc-2.96.x which is a standard shipped gcc with Mandy, you'll need either gcc-2.95 or gcc-3.0.x.
