Mandrake 10 Mouse/Partition/Shutdown

I don't know how Mandrake 10 installed itself. I set aside a partition for it, but I don't think it used it. There are two partitions, and there both NTFS. One has the Windows XP operating system in it and the other looks empty.

That's more of a curiousity than a problem though, at least I think so. The problem I have is that my USB, Logitech, wheel mouse won't work. I tried all of the mouse settings, but none of them work. Also... I don't know how to shut Mandrake down. When I log out the "reset" and "halt" buttons are grayed out. I don't see a shutdown or halt button in the start menu either.

As far as the shutdown problem goes, fire up the KDE control centre, go to System | Login Manager and allow all users to shutdown. It's under the Sessions tab.
