Mandrake 10

If I burned an .iso with errors, yet it boots and runs, is it safe to install from it?

Also, how do you install with the GUI?

If there were errors when burning it probably means there are broken files on the cd. You can try and install from it - maybe there are problems with files you won't need. But it may also be that an important file is broken. Then the installation won't finish successfuly.

What do you mean by an install with GUI? Graphical install or installation of GUI? In both cases you just boot from the cd. Graphical installation starts by default and when choosing packages/files to install you can choose GNOME/KDE and others.

I was talking about DrakX, it dosen't start , the enter or F1 screen comes up graphically, but it then reverts to command prompt style install.
