Mandrake 10.0 | gfx.wad error?


ive just the move to linux from windows and madrake was recommended
to me as a good place to start,
my problem is when i try to launch cs (1.6) ive got steam installed and that works, but when i try to load a game it gives me an error box sayying failed to load gfx.wad

any ideas?
im usin an fx5900xt gfx card with drivers installed.
according to the readme i got with cedega i need to add a list
of resolutions to my XF86-Config-4 file, i know how to edit it, just not wat
i need to add to it or where...

help plz ive had enuf of the blu screen of death...
